Week 14: Adaptive and Assistive Technologies
Assistive Technology is used to help people who have disabilities gain access to information that might otherwise be inaccessible. Students with Cognitve, Physical or Sensory disabilities as well as At-Risk and Gifted/Talented Students require the use of adaptive or assistive technology in order to an equal opportunity for learning as every other student. The presentation below describes a few technology that can assist students with these disabilities in a High School Math class.
